I read it last year after seeing his companion TV series and hearing him talk in London. It's interesting if rather lightweight, though understandably if you're in the middle of nowhere with a bunch of rednecks, you're not going to argue that their belief system is invalid. The gentle puncturing of ego's is quite nice, especially this guy with his own radio show who sounds like an up-his-own-ass idiot who can't see the difference between reactionary Christianity and pantomime paganism. |
