Two things:
One, I think as Forteana, this topic might be better suited to the Laboratory.
Two, there was a similar case further north - New Hampshire, I think - of a strange, waxy-tarry substance that splattered a house. At first they thought it was the old airplane-toilet thing, but it wasn't blue (like the stuff in airplane waste tanks gets) and it didn't smell. And was sort of tarry.
I'm not sure anyone determined what that stuff was, either. |
