Infographics design and the new Royksopp video

I've just seen the new Royksopp video and frankly I'm stunned - you can watch it online if you have RealPlayer. I was wondering firstly if anyone had any idea who did it, whether there are any books or products that resemble it and basically if anyone knows anything at all... I've put it in Design rather than TV or Music because it's so clearly a graphic design issue...

The video is a pretty big dl...any links to pics of the video, etc. Not at a broadband connection at the moment.

When you speak of infographics, are you referring to interfaces you'll see on top of broadcast video, or are you referring to tables and the like. I've always dug the charts and graphs in the issues of Wired when they're readable and don't contain to many exotic inks.

Used to know of this japanese site that had great calendars, charts, etc. I'll see if I could dig it up...

It's the new one for 'Remind Me' - it's a stunning piece of design.

a quick sumary for those that haven't seen it - the video follows a woman as she wakes up and goes to work, but her every movement is charted by info graphics that remind the viewer of the complexities and technologies going on behind the scenes of our everyday actions - for example girl goes to toilet and the info graphics track down to foll0ow her waste down throught the toilet through the swere system into the water treatment works, back out into the rive and into the world as part of the water cycle...

great video, Very funny. i personnally thinks it's a parody of these kinds of charts and the conceit that life is quantifiable. of course some peoples lives can be charted the way it is in the video, but what happens on the weekends? i especially like the booze chart at the end, then it starts again in Japan. very cyclable.
