I'm considering creating a servitor with protective functions. Having never done this sort of thing before, I've got questions that haven't been covered by the research I've done so far...
The servitor would need a name, a form, attributes, and affinities so I can feed/charge it. What are the advantages to making up a name (as opposed to scrounging through esoteric books for something that sounds pretty and maybe ending up with a lot of attributes I hadn't counted on) and what are good sources of inspiration for making up said name?
Servitors are magickal beings; 'should' have a supernatural appearance... What might be the advantages/disadvantages of a human form vs an animal form?
Those of you who've done this, here's the chance to critique your work. What are you really pleased with? What would you do differently?? |
