To judge from the tone of your post, you were/are experiencing the euphoria that comes from disaster just averted. This is all good and natural. Be aware, however, that like a lot of altered states it may leave you with a heavy comedown; in this sort of case, feeling weepy, down, anxious, or just plain numb. Don't worry too much about this, but be aware that it might happen. If you do find yourself having these feelings, try to put them in perspective-- they're natural, part of a psychological process.
I'd seriously suggest staying with freinds for a day or two, or at least having a mate touch base every so often to check that you're okay.
