Need Charging: Missing Cat

I don't remember asking any charging for y'all before and I know this may sound silly, but I need your help to find my cat. Little bit of history first, though:

Neecah is an adult street cat my mother started taking care of two years ago. She's all black and her eyes are green (just so you can picture better since I have no acess to a scanner as of now). She was a wearing a red collar when she disappeared into the night yesterday.

It's very common for her to go out at least once a day to shit and piss on a nearby garden (which my mom cleans everytime) and come back right afterwards, but last Sunday night she didn't come back. We waited, and when the wait got too long we went after her with no sucess. The same today's morning.

I know it's usual for street cats to "take a break" from the house for some days and reappear next as if nothing had happened. But it's been almost 24 hours she's been missing. She may come back, as many people told me she would, but she's been slightly sad lately, not eating as much as she used to.

We're worried. Firstly because a neighbors' cat has disappeared not so long ago. We know he had failing kidneys due to obesity and it wouldn't be a surprise to know he was gone to die alone (I hear it's not unnusual. But Neecha's well fit). Secondly, we've heard another neighbor saying he'd kill all the cats he sees because one of them had "surely" killed his bird (nobody knows who did it). He denied today, but his house is right on the way to her bathroom. Thirdly because I'm afraid she may have forgotten how to properly hunt for food.

I've walked all the neighborhood after her, asking around, checking the places she could propably have gone to. No sign of being run over. City's Pet Control has no trace. It's like she vanished. Can't tell if anyone stole her (don't see why, since she's an adult). She's castrated and very smart so I don't think she would be easy to get caught or attracted to farther places by a male cat .

Anyway, my mother's desperate and the rest of the people in the house is not well too, myself included. We've made a very good connection to her in all this time and it feels like someone in the family has died or is missing. I've always thought that considering a pet as a family member was stupid until I started caring a lot for one. I work at home and play a lot, so you get the picture. Later today we'll probably ask around a bit more and stick a note with her picture too.

But I need your help to get her back. I believe it's better that those willing to help create their own sygils for this purpose. I've charged one yesterday and will be doing some more, maybe once a day. And if you're going to help, please do it as soon as possible. Guess the later the worse on those cases.

Also I'd like to know about specific rituals for this situations that you've used before with sucess, so I can get a wider variation and aim for better results. If you have had experience with street cats gone away and coming back feel free to post about their behaviour too. Help will be much appreciated and karma kandies will be distributed at the end of this. Excuse the lenght - I'm confused, angry and sad about all this. I really like that small furry girl.

I'm putting my willpower to test with this. Thanks a lot in advance.

Yeah, I was in almost exactly the same situation back in November-ish. I posted a sigil here for charging, here's the old thread.
Unfortunately, it didn't work, but that may have been at least partly because my parent's didn't tell me for a while, thereby leaving it too late. Anyway, consider it charged.

I was going to mention poor Shelley too. I guess our magickal feline recovery track record is not very good. Still, don't let that get you down. I will try and help too. Practice makes perfect.

And the track record has just gotten better, in no time:

Nica's BACK!

This morning I woke up with one of the guys who work as security and janitor at a building on the other side of the block telling us she was there trying to come back, but couldn't jump the high wall that separates the building and my neighbours' house. The other guy was watching her as we rushed there. We gave them some money for the help and brought her home.

She was scared - but unharmed - and did a sniffing house recognition before calming down, eating and having some sleep. I'm just curious to where she's been, but since she can't speak as eloquently as Sabrina The Teenage Witch's cat I'll probably never know.

I'd like to thank Mordant, Haiku and Gus for replying and all the other lurking who sent their good vibes, including my friends of the brazilian (some of them Barbelithers) "cell" of Chaos Magicians I e-mailed privately. Speed was vital in this. Karma Kandies to everyone!

Here's the sygil I charged Monday, made from the basic ITSMYWILL mantra (Nica's N, C and A are in the mix). Hope this works for other people with missing cats:

Yesterday I was exausted from looking around and from crying (I'm not used to, but when it comes it's like Niagara Falls) to come up with a new ritual so I asked Bast to protect and guide Nica, visualized her coming back and all the good things we do together - while I was heavily sleepy, like a cat.

While crying like a child I asked generally, among other things, to "bring her back" so this can be seen as an involuntary catholic request. Later I learned my grandma prayed for St. Expedito (of the desperate causes) and St. Francisco (protector of animals, which could also explain the appearence of a butterfly and a bird inside our house this morning). I even threw Ace Ventura, Pet Detective in the mix.

Well, I'm very happy and relieved (will calm down if she goes away again, but will see if she uses the catbox more often). Hope this helps people in similar situations and now I'll be browsing other threads to charge people's sygils like there's no tomorrow.

Thanks a lot!

What song is that from?

Forgot to tell, will send that Bast love to Shelley, wherever it is now, for protection.

Nica says "meow-meowww" to everybody.

As one of the lurkers, I'd thought de-lurk and say that I'm really happy that your cat returned. My cat went missing on the 21st of June and has still not returned. I miss him and believe (that being so cute) that someone took him in when he got lost and didn't bother to phone me.

Once again, I'm really happy that Nica got home safely.
