The abstract is a little vague.
And there is no further clarification post.

What would people think about using the Leary Grid as the model.
We would have to use one of his tests then.

One advantage of the Leary Grid is the high level of correspondance to the previously mentioned META-four, eagle, bull, lion and angel.

Any other Ideas.

There's been a SNAFU. There was basically a double post of the entire topic, and the first post was deleted from one version, and then the entire other thread (which had since been replied to) deleted. The Ghost of the previous thread is at http://www.barbelith.com/underground/topic.php?id=7926
So, no, technically that wasn't what I was meaning, but I do actually like where you were going with it, so if it's okay with you, I'd be tempted to see where it goes from here.

Here is a humorous example of a leary grid model Carlin-Leary Personality Assessment Matrix

It test as follows:

"According to the great philosopher Carlin, we have 3 classes of problems in this country:

  1. the genuinely stupid
  2. the full-of-shit, who sound stupid but aren't...
  3. the fucking crazy"

Analog works as the bull of Earth.
Scientific works as the Eagle of Air.
Artistic works as the Angel of Water.
Digital works as the Lion of Fire.

Personality tests are just elaborated ways of saying that "There are two kinds of people..."

I'm an INTP on the Briggs-Meyer scale, a "Type 3" on the Enneagram, not to mention a "North-East" on the Personality compass...

There really are two kinds of people, you know: the kind who say that "there are two kinds of people" and everybody else...
