Effects of the Full Moon

Anyone noticing strong effects of this week's full moon? I'm feeling some pretty powerful stuff this week in particular....it seems the full moon usually gives me either a nice, euphoric, anything's-possible "high" or sends some melancholy my way. I am a Wolf, too, so I guess it's no wonder.... but I'm wondering if this full moon specifically is effecting others more strongly than other full moons.

I'm doing the DMK thing, so it's really hard to tell how much is just being aware of the moon more, or due to that magic stuff....

Hard to tell, lunar influence has been rather strong for me in general lately. When the moon is out, every time I step out of doors I unconsciously snap my head around to look at it. like a magnet. An intersting effect for me, I've noted. The best being last week, laying on a bench in a park during midday, eyes closed, meditating. Slowly, my eyes drift open and I realize that I'm staring right at her again. I thought that particularly impressive. I just had to laugh.

Lots of visitations in my current semi-dreaming state.

I've been barking and howling, metaphorically speaking. I'm usually pretty emotionally stable but this morning I had a full-on panic attack (which never happens) and walked out of my temp job (which isn't so unusual, in truth.)

This isn't remotely in the league of empirical evidence, but then we never seem to bother 'bout that too much anyway.

The menstrual cycle is closely allied to the lunar cycle, and it seems to me that a disproportionate number of women have their periods around the full moon. I scarcely need mention the magickal relevance of menstrual blood...

As for this week in particular, I dunno... I was in the west coast of Scotland though and it was beautiful, really large and clear.

Males also have a bifasic hormonal cycle, rather longer than women (a week?), but I do not know if any estoeric relation has ever been drawn, and science itself never paid much attention to it as far as I know.

(Arf!) Kinda hard to type with this paws.
