Does anyone remember the name of the movie that this line came from?

From memory it's about a family of kids who are left with a babysitter, but then have to go on some sort of mission into the city, for some reason. The youngest sister has a crush on Thor and her siblings tease her by telling her "Thor's a homo", to which she replies "Thor is not a homo!!!!"

I think it was made some time in the 80's .

Anyone???

Could be the mighty piece of cinema that was "Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead"

Adventures In Babysitting, starring Elizabeth Shue. I guess I should be proud I know that but I'm not.

Now that's some speedy service. Way quicker than ordering a pizza.

Cheers, Margin Walker, and thanks for taking a stab, Sax.

The name Adventures in Babysitting didn't ring a bell, until I read further down and saw the UK (and I guess Australian) title A Night on the Town.

I really want to sample that line. I may have to start making sample-based music just so I can.

Yeah in Australia it was A Night on the Town, and I jumped to reply but my computer crashed when I tried! Crappity crap! I shake my fist at all of you for beating me to it.

Ahhh Elizabeth Shue ..... the eighties would not have been the same without her.

But wasn't it called "The Babysitter Club" in the UK when it first came out? Its one of the few films I remember renting out when I was a youngster

Doesn't it feature a rather buff Thor, who also happens to fix cars?

Yup thats the one, he saves them from the comedy bad guys in his garage. If I remember correctly though it finishes in a hotel with the little girl swining hundreds of feet above the ground, and her parents would have seen her if they looked at the window, but don't of course....
