http://www.moviepoopshoot.com/news/july02/78.html: MR. MORRISON, GIVE US YOUR BEST "BLUE STEEL"
"The latest edition of A&F QUARTERLY, Abercrombie & Fitch's catalog, has hit the streets with its usual blend of controversial nude photos and an intriguing mix of entertainers. Included in this new catalog are actor Hayden Christensen (STAR WARS EPISODE II), comedienne Sarah Silverman (GREG THE BUNNY), author Jonathan Safran Foer (EVERYTHING IS ILLUMINATED), SNL's Ana Gasteyer, singer KYLIE MINOGUE and NEW X-MEN writer Grant Morrison.
Asked by A&F's Sean T. Collins about his approach to his work with the mutants, Morrison explains that he "designed NEW X-MEN to engineer a new way of thinking, and it's the biggest audience I've got in comics so far. I just want to get to those kids and change the way they think. Where are we going? What is genetic modification and cloning technology going to do to us? What are the possibilities for mutation? How soon will people like the X-Men walk among us? I think it's just 20 to 30 years!" You can read the entire interview by picking up A&F Quarterly in any one of Abercrombie & Fitch's stores." |
