i watched dog soldiers last night and it was fucking ace! in the postpostmodern age the concept of doing a movie 'homage' seems a bit weird, but this film affectionately tweaks bits of all the best movies of the last twenty years [predator, alien/s, the thing, the howling, the matrix, evil dead, silver bullett [featuring the disabled corey haim] and predator. and predator 2] into one of the most enjoyable and well-paced bmovies i've seen in ages.
