Lot of magic rocks type stuff going on in London at the moment, cheap too.

Labradorite is a killer at the moment for psychic self defense protection/water related magic.

Also got a bit heamatite, fluorite, amethyst. I'm a pisces, so these things is good, however to balance it out if your in a similar state it's good to get physical fire magic going.

A hint for next time try to make an abstract that helps people when they go to post their message.

Unfortunatly your thread title sounds like an immature ra-ra session, too bad you didn't call it Magic Stones. I would not be suprised if I was the only one to read it so far.

I have sugested the use of clouded quartz as a focus in a anti-depression ritual once. And I have planned to use obsidian as a crystal ball/black mirror. I am not up to par on stone lore. Any other interesting tidbits that you could share?

Heh, fenris, I knew what he meant.

Ever come across moldavite? Very interesting stuff. It's an extraterrestrial meteor stone, looks a little like green bottle-glass, and a little like Kryptonite. It seems to have a catalytic effect- lots of people speculate that it accelerates spiritual development. It certainly seems to speed the process of change (just remember that spiritual development is typically slow for a reason- slow is not bad, per se.)

prisoner, what uses do you put your stones to? a lot of people seem to just hang on to 'em as talismans in the hope of soaking up some positive vibes (used to do this myself- a little neck-pouch full of rocks, terrible for your posture) but has anyone come across any more dynamic uses for 'em?
