Well, I had a most lovely night. Great to see Ghadis and Angel again and kewl to meet Mr Loomis. (Sorry we didn't see you there, Bear.)

But, I got this off another list - I don't know who it's by:

Next time hopefully, sounds like the magick stuff didn't really kick off but they're planning on changing this for the next one...

I had a brilliant time also. Greatly enjoyed meeting Ghadis and Bill and dragging Angel out after her looong day at work, as well as meeting some other very nice folks floating about. And you can't avoid me forever Bear ...

Didn't get any dancing done though, as the whole time was spent talking pants with the above-mentioned culprits, which suited me just fine.

The guy I spoke to from the Dionysian Underground said he had been planning to do some rituals but the vibe was not really conducive, due to the numbers of people wandering in and out, doing their own thing, etc. I didn't think it was too much of a 'clubber' scene. Dunno.

Next time most definitely.

It was so lovely seeing Ghadis and Bill, it's been a long time since we've had a chance to sit and chill. Much gas-bagging to be had. And witnessing a beautiful Londonscape of dawn light over the Thames with Loomis has to be up there with the best moments I've had over here so far.

As for the club itself, it was a most interesting atmosphere. It wasn't so much that activity was actively discouraged, more that anything that did try to get started petered out after a very short while. Even low key things like drumming and singing, just couldn't get going. Definately a talking/communication space. What important stuff needed to be said or exchanged that night I wonder?

As a side thought, had the magikal space been cleansed or prepared before we got there? If not and we were disturbing an entities hidy-space, it would hardly be surprising if it was grumpy and not wanting to co-operate. Just a thought.

Anyway, it would be great to go to the next one, even just to see what differences there are in a different space. And hopefully the music will be more dance-inviting as well.
