Why have the Switchboard and the Laboratory swapped positions? Have I missed an announcement? Any reason for it?

The fora in each section are all in alphabetical order now. At least, I presume that's the reason.

Several reasons:

1) Putting them in alphabetical order seemed like a logical thing to do.
2) Putting them in alphabetical order makes them each equally important rather than suggesting a heirarchy.
3) Confuses the eye of the long-term poster so they look in different places for a change and see different posts.
4) Makes the Laboratory - which should be one of the major exciting hubs of barbelith - more prominent...

The Lab will only be better than the Switchboard when you stop refusing to allow my articles on the revolutionary new means of Cheesemaking which was pioneered by Tesla. Just because Nikola transmitted it directly into my brain with his Stilton Ray, that doesn't mean it's not accurate.

I'll admit it seems extreme at first glance to liquify Earth in order to make perfect Brie, but you have to get these things in context.
