Invisible Themes

So how 'bout it folks? Anybody interested in working on a set of threads that we can compile into a glossary of symbolism/themes for the invisibles? We can duplicate 'Anarchy for the Masses' annotation format (volume.issue.page.panel), so that the glossary dovetails with the book, thereby ending my moaning + complaining. We can give Jay Babcock the respect he is due, + I reckon it'll make it easier for the kids to write their term papers.

The Bomb is nice, but it's also a little comparitively light. There have been in-depth discussions of themes both here and on the old Invisibles list. Combining those sources, The Bomb, Anarchy, old Morrison interviews, and additional commentary from whoever would make for a pretty dense and worthwhile project.

Maybe we can start a lit. journal?

I mean, Morrison's done way more than Pynchon, and Pynchon's got one. S'only fair, right?...

deric- I like the Big Plan- lets see if we can get 1 or 2 good glossary threads going. we need to choose topics, + also set citation style in order to cite all those sources you mention.

my votes:

1) blank page/nihilism

2) existentialism
