Perhaps more relevantly, "One more step from you" seems decidedly unnatural. You don't give people steps or emanate them, so how would it be a step "from you"? "One more step towards (x)" or just "One more step" would seem better.

All is revealed by the context dearest, fluffy hauskins. The song in question is an impassioned plea to Carlton television to cease and desist from hiring washedup kiddie popsters as presenters.
