I've been interested in starting a project - collaborative or not - based around the idea of a fake blog. In this case, a fake cyberpunkish blog, set in London, the "rules" being that the entries for your character must correspond to the time that you post them. Characters would be updating the blog from a net cafe, or their phone... I thought it could get interesting, particularly if the characters start interacting, or readers start emailing them (each person would have their own forwarded email address and respond to anything they received in character).
I've recently been looking at movabletype and I think it's an ideal medium, although I'm amenable to blogger et al as alternative means. Today, I've set up movabletype on a server and it all seems to work properly.
What I'm wondering is...
(a) would anyone here be interested in collaborating?
(b) does anyone have any examples of similar projects? because I'm sure similar things have been done, and I'd be interested to see them |
