Fakeblogproject, collaborators sought

I've been interested in starting a project - collaborative or not - based around the idea of a fake blog. In this case, a fake cyberpunkish blog, set in London, the "rules" being that the entries for your character must correspond to the time that you post them. Characters would be updating the blog from a net cafe, or their phone... I thought it could get interesting, particularly if the characters start interacting, or readers start emailing them (each person would have their own forwarded email address and respond to anything they received in character).

I've recently been looking at movabletype and I think it's an ideal medium, although I'm amenable to blogger et al as alternative means. Today, I've set up movabletype on a server and it all seems to work properly.

What I'm wondering is...

(a) would anyone here be interested in collaborating?
(b) does anyone have any examples of similar projects? because I'm sure similar things have been done, and I'd be interested to see them

Werl, there's this... The Thing From Beyond Time

... but you'll have seen that, surely. Do you mean a more specific example?

I've actually not been following that thread too closely, I shall have to have a look to examine some of the issues people have been confronting.

I was thinking of a collaborative blog rather than separate ones - the tech is there to have everyone working on the same server (for free) which I think would be tighter and keep things together more.

Generally, I was after any examples people have of fakeblogs. I'm still formulating the idea...

What is movabletype? The link goes to some geocities page that doesn't help anything at all.
