 Betamaxed: When a technology is overtaken by an inferior, but better-marketed, technology.  "Apple was Betamaxed out of the market by Microsoft."
 
 Elvis Year: The peak year of something's (or someone's) popularity.  "Barney the dinosaur's Elvis year was 1993."
 
 Food Coupons: Twenty-dollar bills froman ATM.
 
 Irritainment: Annoying (but riveting) media spectacles.  The O.J. trials were a prime example.
 
 Mouse Potato: The online, wired generation's answer to the couch potato.
 
 Ohnosecond: That miniscule fraction of time in which you realize that you've just made a BIG mistake.
 
 SITCOM: What yuppie parents turn into.  Stands for Single Income, Two Children, Oppressive Mortgage.
 
 Zen Mail: E-mail messages that arrive in one's mailbox with no text in the message body.
