well, considering i move a couple days before this, things are gonna be completely chaotic and difficult.

that said, i eat 'difficult' for breakfast and wash it down with 'problematic'. so this is possible*. especially as i heart the boredoms, big time.

Ha! I don't ask them anymore. They just got told. Most recently, they got told that one of them was getting the day off work to go to an open day so i could leave my sleeping bag in the car so i wouldn't have to carry it around with me all day vbefore I emt exp to stay with him for the weekend.

In revenge, they never fucking pick me up when they say they will and leave me in the rain to get wet and called ugly by assorted total strangers.

Sorry about this, but anyone wanting a copy of the sky while I'm over in Brighton will be disappointed (not very. It's not like you really wanted one) by the fact that we still haven't managed to print it because the other half of this plan is a twat.

But don't worry, exp read pat of it, thought it was shit, and left if in his lounge. so change's are you'ds all have to drop yr unfeasably high opinions of me if you read it anyway.

And I wasn't fishing for compliments: I'd just been stood up (which in context is about as melodramatic phrase as I can use right now), printing blows so i was irritated and I was feeling morose. I was working for the whole weekend! When was I supposed to find time to finish it? I wasn't there for more than five minutes at a time! Compared to you, sat larding your ass around all day reading my comics and listening to my music! The Boredoms appear at 10:00 with a support band from about 8:30, sooooooo we could either ignore the support band and have a couple of drinks in town before moving on, or head straight to the venue (Concorde 2) and drink there prior to the Boredoms.

depending on who the support are, I'd probably vote for a couple of drinks first...

The George is easy to find, spacious, and easy from the station for those heading down in the evening? Or the gt. eastern, opposite it? what do people think? or is meeting nearer the concorde a better plan (seafront pubs are easy to find, but expensive and generally a bit shit... but am not easy. )

ok. i'm pretty much confirming for this - though don't have tix at this very mo. as regards pre-club drinks, my vote is for somplace close to the C2 - partially 'cause i'm moving a stone's throw from it, partially 'cause THINGS GO WRONG AND PEOPLE DIE.

...meaning i don't much like the idea of being too far from the venue too close to time. taxis in brighton are like lazy vultures.

Hokay. How about pre-drinks at Concorde 2? The bar is separate from the band area, so we can all pile in at around 8:30 for the support band. If they're great, we drink beer, remain, watch Boredoms, drink more beer then go home. If they're shit, we head to the bar, drink heavily, talk and wait for Boredoms, see them, drink, then go home.

sounds good. and ta, auto, for reminding me about the ticket -buying tehcnicality.

Riz, the concorde 2 is on the seafront, dead easy to find. from the station head straight down the large main road in front of you (queen's road), past the clock tower and straight ahead to the beach. get down onto the beach and turn left, it's a about a 10 minute walk, past the Palace pier, the entrance is under a set of arches. have PM'd you my number, gis a ring if you get lost.

I'll let you know what time we'll be arriving, Tez. I've got a hospital appointment that morning (so it may be over quick, or I may have to wait HOURS). Or I may ignore it and leave early anyway, after getting more of a lie in. We'll see...
