If you're received this email, its because you were interviewed and /
or
photographed at the recent London Le Tigre show and we were able to
read
your handwriting!
The material we gathered has now been put together into an installation
entitled "Secret Vocabulary", and will be shown as part of a special
two day
exhibition at the Institute of Contemporary Arts called "Slice", which
will
show various work by students of the London Consortium.
"Secret Vocabulary" documents the May 2002 Le Tigre tour as a cultural
event, focussing on the London show, combining a number of different
elements:
a selection of large prints will be hung on the walls, a monitor will
show
audience interviews & live footage, documentation relating to the
booking of
the tour will be available to look at, and a computer will display more
of
the portrait photos, crowd photos, and quotes from the interviews.
Please come down and have a look, and bring your friends!
Saturday 29 / Sunday 30 June 12 pm to 6 pm.
The exhibition takes place upstairs in the Nash Room.
Institute of Contemporary Arts, The Mall, London SW1.
nearest tubes: Charing Cross or Piccadilly Circus.
Entry: £2.50 day membership.
I just know I came over like a complete wally in the interview, as they took me by suprise and I didn't really know what to say, but at least I was wearing a cool T-shirt..
