Personally, I am sitting sky-clad (apart from my Calvin Kleins), contemplating dancing widdershins around a bottle of Co-Op's finest Semillon Chardonnay, with ritual burning of Marlboro Lights and much petting of bemused cats.

Well it was a rubbish midsummer's eve down here - it was all grey and drizzly and their were bastard tourists all over the place walking their dogs whilst I was trying to stride majestically about the countryside..

Me and seven others are digging a huge pit which will be filled with the detritus from our houses. Then we're going to siphon off petrol from the Accommodation Manager's and the Estates Manager's cars, douse the lot and burn it. Cathartic expulsion, community bonding and clean-up effort all rolled into one. And we've got long sticks and a bag of marshmallows too.

We're right on the lough-shore...there's a gentle breeze blowing which will take care of the fumes, plus there's nothing in the pile which is (too) toxic.

Well I went to this:

and had a proper oul' teknopagan celebration. I got rightly off my tits and did my best to fight all the badness in the higher dimensions to save us from the end of the world and the forces of the man and all that. And I managed to break my invoulntarily 2 year celibacy thing that was going on far too long for my liking. I'm out of a job now but I reckon that could be all for the best. I'm going to have to do some magick to help me get a new job when the time is right.

Hey! Lol this is ages ago, but just lookin thru old stuff.
I was a waitress at a midsummers ball that night. Which was suprisingly fun. Then i got free booze all night because of it. And i fucked a piper at it, in the pouring rain. And i do mean, POURING rain. With most of the ball-guests walking past. And i went in to the marquee, got my money from waitressing, and staggered home with my sister. Fantastic.

I went to a midsummers barn dance this year; one of those 'isnt the world a happy place after all' nights. I think i'll replace christmas with summer solstice.
