Bobbins has stopped

I'm most disappointed. My fave webcomic, Bobbins, has stopped, for reasons I've not been able to work out - the "explanation" has a broken link.

If you've never read it, you should do so now; the archive is all still there. He's just not updating it.

Anyone know why?

He was going to put it on hiatus, then decided that actually he had taken the characters as far as he wanted to, and the endless summer holiday of sudden unemployment was a good time to leave it.

Basically.

He is now writing ScaryGoRound. It isn't as good yet, but then early Bobbins fucking sucked, so you payts your money (or not anymore, as the archive is now freely available)....

I have faith that Scary Go Round will eventually pick up. There's potential.

I also think it was a good thing that he let Bobbins go. It was all starting to slip a bit. You could kind of tell that he was running out of ideas. Hopefully Scary will give him a breath of fresh air.
