Thursday 20th June- London- Lets all meet up in the year 2002

Our Lady of The Two Towers
15:38 / 19.06.02
For no other reason than because I say so, anyone that wants to meet up for a drinkie thursday evening should aim in the direction of the Chandos upstairs, I aim to be there from somewhere in the direction of 5 pm looking like what Anakin 'Don't Call me Anni!' Skywalker would have looked like if he'd been tempted by beer rather than the Dark Side of the Farce.

But it won't be special without you, and you, and most especially you. So I hope to see you there, or else it's back to slaughtering kitties again.

Oh yeah, and there will be much buying of the drinks for The Rothkoid, to cushion his system for the return to the Underside. 2 weeks pickled should do him I think.

That sounds cool Lada, very considerate of you.

Will see what I am doing and may well be there for one or two.

After having done one this week, why not another? Except I have no idea where or what the Chandos is.

Shortfatdyke

the chandos is on charing cross road, opposite the entrance to the national portrait gallery and just across the road from the big, big, post officey place. it's pub, naturally.

Try http://www.streetmap.co.uk/newmap.srf?x=530116&y=180515&z=1&sv=Duncannon+Street&st=1&tl=Duncannon+Street,+WC2&searchp=newsearch.srf&mapp=newmap.srf
it's either on the corner of St. Martin's Lane and Duncannon Street or St. Martin's Lane and William IV street, can't remember, but once your around there you'll see it. You want the stairs on either side of the pub up to 'opera gallery' (?) if it's open...

Baz Auckland
20:19 / 19.06.02
Sounds like a plan. Is this Episode II anakin, or Return of the Jedi old man annie?

Ariadne
21:04 / 19.06.02
I'll be there, and if any new people are coming, look for us upstairs in the Opera room.

Eloi Tsabaoth
21:56 / 19.06.02
I'll try to make it. Please contain your excitement.

The Return Of Rothkoid
23:19 / 19.06.02
W00t!

I'll be there. Oh yes.

Loomis
08:04 / 20.06.02
Just remember, Rothkoid - first I need your advice on cheap cd purchasing in Berwick St. Then we can celebrate said purchases with sweet sweet stout.

ONLY NICE THINGS
08:28 / 20.06.02
I think it may be the corner of St. Martin's Lane and Chandos Place, although that does sound far too easy.

Will try to make it, possibly with exciting new trousers.

Cavatina
10:06 / 20.06.02
Will try to make it, possibly with exciting new trousers.

Hem. Wearing tight breeches with a codpiece attached ... or something?

Shortfatdyke
10:42 / 20.06.02
severe financial embarrassment dictates that i can't come to this.

The Return Of Rothkoid
11:12 / 20.06.02
OK. Will be there. More like 6 at this point, due to advisory status, but will turn up with Loomis in tow. And then the drinking will commence, oh yes.

Lurid Archive
11:17 / 20.06.02
A meet where people will be sporting codpieces? Sounds interesting. I may well try to make it if I don't remember some prior engagement between now and when I properly wake up.

Mordant will probably also come along as we have yet to sever our symbiotic pelvic attachment.

STOATIE LIEKS CHOCOLATE MILK
11:34 / 20.06.02
I think the fact that I'm still awake and drunk now means I'm unlikely to be getting up that early this evening (having to work at 11). Appy polly loggies. Tell you what, drink a bit extra, be sick, then point at it and tell everyone it was me wot spewed. Usually does the trick.

Our Lady of The Two Towers
12:05 / 20.06.02
I think that's the cue for Sleaze to do his 'Spaced' quote...

Cherry Bomb
15:37 / 20.06.02
Dang, I'd love to come. However I am exhausted and nearly broke. And The Godfather II is on at 9!

One, or possibly even two might not be too daunting. But all three is a deadly combo.
