And get this- the Express, in their snidey little way, have managed, by reprinting a cover they had ages ago about the EC's ability to overturn shit judgments by Straw et al, to, by association, bring Myra Hindley into the whole debate. (Inset reprint of front cover with Hindley, headline- "LET THEM ROT", which, as I remember, accompanied an article about how those wacky PC-gone-mad lefties in Europe were gonna free all the psychos and we'd all die.)
Like, yeah, it's OBVIOUSLY the same thing if you kill someone in self-defense or if you go out and torture a bunch of kids to death.
