Actually, I'm in the process of buying one because I can't stand to be cooped up in my little computer room, and I can't continue using "summer" as an excuse for not writing the nov any more. I'm getting a reconditioned Dell one for £355.

I've used a laptop for my personal home type stuff for 4 or 5 years now and I'm just waiting for the day I've saved enough cash to get a top notch desktop.
Its just that bigger disk, smoother graphics and extra special coffee cup holder that are seducing me!
