On the plus side it does look unlikely that this bill will be passed without a fight from the federal moderate muslim and non-muslim government .
however even scarier than the proposed law is its orginal draft which in addition to stating that 4 male muslim witnesses were needed to prove rape, any woman having a child out of wedlock (including cases of rape) would also be punishable by stonning... |
