My pet project of the moment is a nice historical survey of people/place sims, all platforms since, say 1980.

I'm hoping the hard part is getting the proper systems to run the games.

But, if you have any version of Sim City/health/tower/ant/life Populous, Little Computer People, or it's like, post here or PM me. Include what you'd take in trade or how much cash you want for it.

Do you mean stuff like Black and White, Populous, and Populous 2.

Or do you mean stuff like Civilization, Master of Magic, and Command and Conquer.

I think I have a copy of Sim City 3000 somewhere....used to have Sim City for the Spectrum, which was gloriously pointless.

I've got SimCity 2000 kicking around somewhere if you need it, orig copy boxed etc ... Is it just the games your after or are you looking for all that boxed type stuff .. ?

Do they have to have people in 'em? I *think* I have SimEarth lying around somewhere, but I can't remember if that one does social interaction or if you just grow sentient life then you win.

Also: try Home of the Underdogs; it's a big abandonware site that will have lots of them, especially old obscure ones. I think I got SimAnt off it a while back.

SimAnt was great. SimEarth was alright but a little... anal.

I was only able to get SimHealth and found El-Fish, but it provides a decent list of PC titles:

Not so much a God game as a sim (and not a very convincing one at that), but does anyone remember the sadistic entertainment of 'Life and Death'? You even got gloves and a face mask with the original boxed version....*sigh*

I saw a Goth sim once.. Damn, what was the name of that



..nope. No luck. It came out in about 97 or 98 and involved sulking, wearing black, being a vampire and hanging out in cafes and clubs. Quite entertaining in a sad sort of way.

LCP was one of the dullest games on record- the little guy just wandered up and downstairs and never DID anything. And he took forever to die as well.

You know all about the Sims right? If you do, think of LCP as the sims with very little interactivty. I'm not sure game could is a word to properly describe this "thing".

The only goth sim I know about is Tamagothi
