Not really. The only question is whether nobody else in the whole wide world knows what that email address. If I had your email address, for example, I could write to you purporting to be Cameron, as I also have his. Of course, if you replied, it would go to Cameron, who would be duly nonplussed. It's just about changing your profile defaults - not even a hack.
If it is an email address used only for discussing a particualr project, it is comparatively more likely that it will be a particular one of the people who know that address, but only because mathematically there will be fewer people.
None of which means that it cannot be Grant Morrison, only that at the first level of complexity it need not be. |
