Someone's going to die? What about Beast? He seems to be pretty well loved. I mean, is Emma really what one would call a beloved character?

Jack Fear
13:41 / 07.06.02
Holy shit!

He actually did update grantmorrison.com, just today, no fucking lie!

New column and everything! Honest to God!

Trijhaos
13:45 / 07.06.02
Damn!

He did.

Now if only he could change the red background.

13:48 / 07.06.02
Emma is a lot more popular with the fans right now than Henry is. By a million miles, really.

Oh look, Grant manages to make more rape and incest jokes in his Column.

Here we go again.

Trijhaos

Did my eyes deceive me? Was it actually written that the next bit of pop magic would be up at some point in time?

Emma's more popular than Henry, yes, but popularity doesn't always equal belovedness.

Gee, I'd forgotten how much I enjoy reading Grant's loony outpourings .. even the first paragraph had me chuckling .. "rather like two glasses of milk" he he..

I'm sure this question has been asked alot. There's been alot of talk about who's taking over the main Batman title. Has Mr. Morrison been offered the writing chores of Batman?

PMG

No that job has been given to the late Poet Laureate, Sir John Betjeman who intends, from the grave no less, to lead the Dark Knight on a voyage of self discovery through the drawing rooms, tennis courts and vicarage tea parties seething with lust of 1920’s Kent.

god bless him.

Third and last part of Newsarama interview up here.

Oh, fuckarolla, along with new gm.com stuff this a big chunk of Morrison goodies. Another work afternoon gone...

Scripts for first two episodes of the proposed INVISIBLES Tv series in the Archive section of the website.

Christ, when he updates, he fucking updates, dunnee?

From the interview: something to excite me...

“The style of the new [MARVEL BOY] series was partly influenced by re-reading some of my all-time favorite books: Warlock, Killraven, the Brunner/Englehart Doctor Strange and other 'Kosmiche Komiks' of the 70s..."

And this that makes me choke:

"We learn a lot more about Kree culture and religion and discover that it's all based on ancient comic books..."

Grant Morrison In Self-Referentiality Shocker, yet again.

Martha the Mutant Brain will be in Xorn's remedial class. That makes me happy...

I think if he does kill one of the teachers, it'll be Emma, but I can also see it being one of the students - kids seem to be in mortal danger all the time in NXM.

I guess Beak will bite the dust. Grant has stated Scott is the coolest X-Man. And he will appear in the next movie, so killing him off - or Beast (who may be in the movie as well and has this gay thing to explore now) would be stupid for him as writer.

Regarding gm.com, not only the red background and the always mind-bening text, but this logo makes your brain shake, doesn't it?

brain shaking being a good thing, surely..

Sandfarmer
14:24 / 09.06.02
Yeah, that logo gave me a nose bleed.

Jack:

"We learn a lot more about Kree culture and religion and discover that it's all based on ancient comic books..."

I was choking too, until I realised he probably meant "comic books" in the Scott Macleoud (sp?) sense: hieroglyphics. He's always going in for hyperbole, though, and that can grate. Still....

Good: remedial class camping trip. And Martha.

And jellyboy and Polaris and all sorts of stuff.

I don't know if he'll kill a student, but he might. I'm going w/ Emma for now (as far as I know, she's not in the next X-Men film), but I just don't know.

Is it just the colour contrasts or has something special been done to the GMWord logo to make it look 3D?
