Am I the only one who's getting weird advertisement pop-ups when visiting Barbelith? Say it ain't so, Tom!

Funny you should ask. I had a pop-up appear when I logged in a couple of days ago, but put it down to the fact that the PC I was using had Freeserve.com as its homepage and presumed it was an exit pop-up. But then, that's never happened to me before on that computer.

I reckon the pop-up will be a sneaky time-delayed one from another site, unrelated to Barbelith.

Go to Lavasoft and download Ad-Aware and Refupdate. You'll be surprised at what it'll yank out of your system. You may need to run it a couple of times for the full effect. It's good stuff, and free - and kills lots of popup and spyware nasties.
