Bear starting a topic on the comic forum whats next, the head shop!!

Anyway just wondering if anyone has read this comic, I'm just curious if its any good since its written by WWE wrestler Raven.

I think it might just be out today I saw this on another site -

Just thought some readers may be interested to know that Raven's first venture into writing comic books was released today. Titled 'Spider-man's Tangled Web #14: The Last Shoot', he is not credited as WWE superstar Raven, but uses his real name, Scott Levy. (co writen with Brian Azzarello).

The story is based upon the Character played by Macho-Man Randy Savage in the Spiderman Movie, and I have no doubt many of the opinions expressed by 'Crusher Hogan' are critiques of current and past WWF/WWE Superstars. (and there are quite a few in there!)
If nothing else it gives a good insight into the struggles of independant wrestling companies, although it is odd that the main dialogue focuses on Crushers refusal to sign for a bigger, comercial company, when Raven himself deserted ECW.

If anyone reads it can they let me know if its any good, like I said just curious.

That sounds very interesting, Bear. I like the strange combinations Marvel is trying on this title. The whole thing sounds very respectful and serious, instead of the usual stoopid hype one gets on wrestling related comics. I had hoped that the tempatation to collect this title would fade, but it just keeps coming back. And I hate modern wrestling, too. Go figure.

I thought it was a greatissue, showing a lot of behind the scenes stuff of a small wrasslin federation, and kind of hammered home the point that Spider-Man (before he got his Stan Lee Moral) didn't much care about the consequences of his actions...and put a company out of business.

A LOT of inside terms and I almost wonder if someone who doesn't know way too much about comics would understand the point of the story...or even how it relates to Spidey.

But I loved it.
