SOUTHAMPTON: I Am Jack's Party-Double

Well, hellooooo. Nice to be back a little more often. I am finally no longer homeless, miss spooky and I having moved into a deeply lovely flat last Sunday, and this of course means that my net connection is back. Hurrah, etc.

It also means a housewarming party, which shall take place at ours (funnily enough) on Saturday 8th June, in Bevois Valley, Southampton.
Bring a bottle, ROAR, etc. Bear in mind that, although we're lovely, open-minded folks, anyone wrecking our place gets hir head handed to hir.

Finally, it is my birthday on the following weekend (Sunday 16th June), and I'm having a party at Goblets, Southampton, on Saturday 15th, from around 7.30pm. I'll be 27, and if any of you can make it to celebrate with me, it'd be lovely and all things groovy to see you.

For those who've forgotten - ephemerat and expressionless also hail from here, and will be there. My sister (dawntreader, from the Buffy threads, mostly) is back and likely to attend... spooks and I can put up a fair few people if needs be, as we have a futon in spooky's dressing room and will have much floor space and a sofa in the lounge...

So there you go. Any takers? Fly? Rothkoid? Cat? MC/LA?

Well, the housewarming went wonderfully... Started at nine and finished a little after seven am the next day, with an unbelievable amount of bottle and can recycling to heft around when we recovered.

Thanks go to la plumsbitch for coming down and warming our cockles, and for the perfect prezzie, and everyone local who attended. Haus, Ma'at REALLY wants to talk slash n' roll with you...

VBenue for my birthday thing on Saturday 15th (the one coming up) has changed slightly. We've cancelled the pub room booking due to possible lack of support, and will be meeting at our place from 7.30pm on Saturday, venturing off to the Dungeon a little later on. If anyone's planning on coming down, please remember to either bring your own recreational pharmaceuticals or contact me and I'll try to arrange something (which you'll obviously have to pay for, but remember that prices are a lot lower out here in the suburbs... fiver for a pill, tenner for a gram of speed, coke a remote possibility if that's what you're into...).

It's my 27th, which is three cubed, so it's a big one. Any takers? Fly, I'll be calling you to emotionally blackmail you into coming... Cherry, any chance?

I'm gutted, but me and Lurid are going to have to give this one a miss. Lurid's job at Soton finishes about now so a) he's moving out of his digs there and b) we're brassic lint (said brassicness being exacerbated by the fact that I'm in the strange and horrible limbo between the end of my student loan and my next temp job).

Anyway, much 'pologies for not coming down - just couldn't work out any way to do it justice and get to work on sunday. Next weekend is out too as I have a long-standing commitment to DJ at a club.
