The BBC have just switched off their old realplayer webcasting streams supported by realplayer and switched over to realone... is it me or does real one NOT provide a free version (where as realplayer did)
am i missing something here or has the BBC webcasting operation now become a cash only affair ? (though i don't think the BBC get any cash from this situation...)?

Help!

If there is a free realone link then please post it here!

If you were already paying for real player the upgrade is free, but otherwise i've only been able to find the pay for service

First of all, are you ralking about radio or TV streaming? Secondly (especially if you've got a Mac), can't you use Quicktime? My control strip has Quicktime player w/ BBC World already loaded in the menu.

You could always get the 2-week trial.

Which I realize is not the same, but...

Real One is provided free. It's on the main page, as ever it was, but the design is awful - or perhaps perfect. It took me hours to notice. There's the pay service, which you can subscribe to and gives you stuff you don't want, and then just underneath where it says FREE and DOWNLOAD NOW and tries to get you to sign up, there's a tiny text link which says Free RealOne Player.
