Okay, so what's a 'club kid' then?
Working from memory the club kids were a group of New York party people who, yeah, just hung round clubs a lot. Some were promoters - I think Alig was, some were dealers, some were faces on the scene, etc etc.
Alig was a bit of weird one and used to hold all these 'shocking' parties where people would wander round with fake blood all over them, or other stuff which crossed the boundaries of good taste and was a bit freaky, to scare you when you were off your tits on happy pills.
However, Mr Alig and a mate took it too far one time on a comedown and hacked Angel Menendez into lots of little pieces (I seem to remember them keeping him, well bits of him, in a bath full of ice before dumping him off a bridge or something like that) |
