so far all we have is the date. the place would depend on who was coming and what provisions they would require. baltimore would be easiest for us, as thats where I live and thats where theyll be staying. but if dc is preferable to more people, they dc it shall be

So do we have any confirmations? I kinda want to say that I'm coming for sure, so that I feel obligated to come. Because I have a real bad thing about waffling on things of this nature. Not that I don't want to visit you guys, because I really do. It's just a matter of me getting my ass in gear. So, okay. Tentatively, expect to see me on the 26th.

since weve only got one vote for dc and Ill be working friday, Im going to go with baltimore(sorry passer!).

Im willing to go anywhere within baltimore, although somewhere big and easy to find would be best. friday the 26th is a definite date, as they will be leaving on saturday the 27th

Warning: The area in and around the Convention Center is likely to be a little extra crowded that weekend. Otakon, the largest anime convention in the mid atlantic region (they're taking over the entire convention center this year), will be running all weekend.

Not sure what kind of effect this will have on the number of people around the harbor, but parking is likely to be a little extra hairy.

Ladies and Gents, my sincerest apologies, but we've had to postpone our vacation plans for financial reasons. We're hoping to get down to Baltimore before the end of the summer, but it definitely won't be next week. I was looking forward to the meet (among other things), but I guess it'll have to wait.

Heh heh...yeah. I think that I would've had to drop out as well, also due to financial reasons, but I was gonna wait it out and see if I was able. Guess I don't have to worry about it, then, eh?

But, yes. I will (hopefully) be more financially stable and have more free time soon, when I...go back to school. Yes, I know. It makes no sense, but trust me here. So I'm open for another meet date. Preferably after I take out an obscene amount in student loans...

This may have been a good choice, or a bad one, depending on how you view things. As it turns out, not only is Otakon at the convention center all weekend. But, Artscape is that weekend as well. Baltimore is going to be a VERY busy place that weekend.

For those not paying attention. Otakon is one of the biggest anime conventions on the east coast. Artscape is a free arts festival with both regional and national acts.

BK: in case you didn't notice, Mary's at Artscape this year.
