The Necronomicon works better as a fictional book than anything else. It's name evokes 'EVIL', and the fact that there's no one true Necronomicon is even better.
When I was younger I wrote my own Principia Discordia to learn more about Chaos. Never got around to doing a Necronomicon, the Mythos isn't really my thing. I suppose you could create the book as part of a binding, if you were having problems with general spiritual ickiness, but it's a push, the Mythos is about pushing one perceptions over the edge, not defence. |
