Anybody see the programme about football hooligans on Channel 4 on Sunday night. It was interesting, but it was really, really one sided. It was quite a cringeworthy experience seeing grown men act like nasty, hyperactive children.
There also a really middleclass, shocked vibe to it, though. The idea that shouting and swearing at a football game should be an arrestable offence is kind of missing a very large point.
Anyone else see it, or am I the only one? |
