Gawd Whisky, how awful. I know how you must feel. You're absolutely sure it's not just mislaid - you haven't put it down somewhere while preoccupied? I've done that on occasion and have felt such a twart when it's finally turned up.

Unless it undid the straps of my bag on the Tube and made a desperate leap to freedom, I'm pretty sure it was stolen.

Oh, plus I failed to return my video to the library by 5 minutes and will now have to pay an extra charge. It's always the little things that push you over the edge ... grr.
