Some time ago, in the summer of 2001 if I recall correctly, I ran into an intriguing page at http://chaos.yerbox.org/face/.
The page was all about this hidden "demon face" in one of Aphex
Twin's tracks, #2 on "Windowlicker". This face was supposed to be viewable with a spectrograph program (basically a program that visualizes the sound spectrum), so I decided to try it myself."
And the author got hold of a software that easily transforms any picture 'into' sound that can be decoded with a spectrum reader software. There may be a very interesting and magickal use to that, if cybermagicians (if that's the proper term) don't use it already .
But the first demon pic scared the shit out of me. |
