The beautiful guy who knows the Tranny scene incredibly well and can handle himself in a fight. The rich businessman who can move in New York society incredibly easily and wants to be Batman. The cheap futurist who can knock together tracers from a GPS unit and a mobile phone. Even if they're not 'core', you could bring em in here and there and some of them could cheerfully recur.
