Just saw Tool, on a drunken whim... and they were ACE.
But their fucking visuals, man- the entirety of the gig was accompanied by non-repeating, cosmically-terrifying visuals.
Positively Lovecraftian. Yeah, they played very well, did a bunch of songs that I like... but the band were almost a sideshow.
Just thought I'd share that. |
