...figured he'd be the one up to it, but apparantly Richard James a.k.a. Aphex Twin was waveforms in his track on Windowlicker that when represented visually create a likeness of his face. There's mention of it here.

I don't know whether to love this or label him "The Man With The Most Free Time on His Hands in the World."

Actually, I don't know whether to believe this, which is weird for me. I'm making a stand! I'm not Mr. Credulous! Yeah!

Errr....so how hard would it be to do that.....?

The article makes it sound like it's not to hard. Scan the image into the computer, and then let the program turn it into sound. He probably then dressed it up a little bit (hence the distortion in the original picture [as opposed to the tweeked picture above]) and there it was.

Somehow I guess there was more to it then that. But, I imagen it's probably easier then it might sound at first.

Sorry, but I don't know how to make links in the new board. The first pic kind of scared the shit out of me.

For all cyber-chaos magicians out there, this can be of good use in sympathic rituals. Like encoding a sygil into a mantra and playing it repeatedly. Lots of possibilities.
