It's out next week (along with NXM 126 and Millar's final issue of Authority - nice!). Here's some preview pages. Looks great...

Next thursday I have NXM, X-Force and Buffy in the evening. The next day I have Star Wars. I am Runce and I am a geek and I am happy.

(Runce dislcaimer: But, as we've already established, I'm beautiful and do it w/ models of all genders while listening to pop and going to the best clubs.)

So Spikey isn't all that bad a person, it looks like. And hows about that Deadgirl? And why does the Anarchist carry dice in his spacesuit?

Any word on when the next trade paperback is coming out?

Do you think that rolling a die is how Milligan decided which of the characters will die?

Spikey was left behind... that "nice" spike was actually one of those CIA experiments in disguise... interesting twist!

Is that what happened? I thought the remaining X-Forcers thought Spike would sell them out and beat him up or something... I guess your explanation makes a lot more sense. I have to admit, I rushed through this one to get to New X-Men.

Am I the only one who feels as though this storyline has gone on for maybe two issues too long already? It's still got some interesting twists and one-liners, but I'm getting to the point where I just don't care how this storyline ends, so long as it eventually DOES.

Also, since the beginning, I can't shake the feeling that no one is actually going to die, that the story is really about death anxiety and loyalty, that Milligan is just messing with us.

yeah it's gone on a bit longer cuz really i think one of them WILL be killed off and Milligan just wants to finish playin' w/ them... i kinda get the feeling that he threw a die too, cuz i don't know how i would kill one of those three... Deadgirl jut keeps gettin' swanker... so the Spike was gonna pull the double cross huh? too bad he underestimated that Bush Ranger... so what's the Spike gonna do up there? and when will the Bush Ranger be revealed, part of me hopes it goes on for a bit just for fun, we know but the characters don't, could be fun for a few issues, but if dragged out could lame up the final outting hardcore... still not quite sure on what's up w/ Myles and Billy Bob, very interesting... and, uh, other such fan-boy ramblings

What i would love to see is that Bush Ranger make a real attempt at "heroism" ala X-force... Even if he IS outed, he could make a good arguement for deserving his own freedom... Especialy in light of The original Spike's Betrail.

oooou! good one PATricky... that would be cool... and as far as the story line being so long... uh it's only been 3isuses so far... there's just so much in them i guess they seem longer...

Longer isn't the word, interminable is.

i just thought of something, why didn't Guy know who the real Spike may be? the Bush Rangers "Breathing... Tightness arround joints" thing... maybe cuz there was a lot of them all at once he couldn't pinpoint... but if Guy lives to make it back home he'll know imediatly the Bush Ranger is posing as the Spike... hrm...

actually i really don't get this "oh the story line is going on too long" stuff - They've only been up in space for two issues so far if you want to count the issue before that as intrinsicly linked to this storyline, why not count everything since 118? (the issue that paco perez, the reason why x-force are going into space in the first place, was introduced).

no complaints about story draggin on - not when the dialogue is as good as it is - not when the artwork in space is as good as it is -
once again, a perfect pop comic - some of the pages and individual panels are amazing!

Am I really the one one who feels like they have been reading the same issue of X-Force for the past three issues? Just kill them already and get it over with, I say. Three straight issues of "I'm going to die. No, yr going to die. No, I'm going to die. No, yr going to die." has been too much for me. I still like the meat of the issues, but this story just feels like it's going nowhere except for a cop-out ending. I'd like to be surprised, but I can't imagine caring too much at this point since the past few issues have made me care more about Myles, Phat, Dead Girl, and Spyke than the three main characters who've done nothing but whine about their impending doom.

so says someone who's never had the finger of death pointed at them and then been, um sneezed on in a spooky spooky graveyard...
