The Faint's new video for "Agenda Suicide" is brilliant, in terms of content, design, and animation. All video channels are refusing to play it, for reasons which will be obvious when you see it.
I imagine that the graphic and casual suicides offered up as a natural and obvious solution to a life of meaningless work might actually be a bit too reasonable and realistic - The Faint make a pretty good case, and it might actually be effective. I can see why MTV et al might feel it a bit irresponsible to play the video for an audience of people who no doubt contain many people who are severely depressed and suicidal.
