Call for the Anti-Obssession Armada

Hi 'lithers.

Some time ago, I have been fighting against awesome incredible stupid problems, that, when I overcome one, "come back", so to say, in other form.

For what I understand how magick works in my country (under the Equador line), maybe I've been followed by "obssessed spirits", or lower spirits, that need to suck someone's energy in order to survive (I imagine...).

To stop this, I have organized an "anti-obssession armada", that will include familiars, meditation, an Uncrossing Ritual, the Egiptian God Anubis and even my Holy Guardian Angel.

So, people, does someone have another idea/ritual/sigil/God that I should call/meditate over/sigilize to help put away these lower spirits? Any advice will help.

Shield, shield, banish, shield!

Banish and seal your home, make it your sanctuary. Let none enter uninvited. Practice visualizing your personal energy, and sensing what it may be in contact with. If you think you are being fed on, draw it in tight and close and ground. If you think you can sense one nearby, toss some salt at it and order it gone in a loud voice, calling on anything you feel necessary to back up your authority. But mostly, be mindful of your energies, and you can learn to sense when this happens and combat it. Putting up an agressive "I eat bad spirits that mess with me" aura can help too, if its a particular problem for you.

I know where your are coming from on this one, I had an experience with an incubus/sucubus entity. It was linked to a single woman house sharing with a friend. It really got ahold of my sacrel chakra and gave it a good draining. (no smut plz). Freaked me and a friend Dan, right out, especially as it was partially manifest.

We made a quick exit, Dan chanting as we left and held an all night vigil. I protected and healed myself, whilst also lighting a candle as offering to a rune charm that I scrawled.

Symbol/rune charms, designed with a some fire, justice and purity, would be a good idea. Dan was graced by his, at the time, recently deceased mother. So some ancestor communion may also help to work at it on two sides, as to say.

Player: Before you go through any more trouble over this, make sure you aren't the one being obsessive. Take a good look at your situation and see if there are things you can modify or improve *without* using Magick.

Perhaps someone more conversant with Santeria/Candomble will have more info about this, but I think there is a procedure known as "washing the head" where a santera/santero mixes various herbs & other ingredients together and rubs the scalp with it in order to clear the mind.

This is a bit of a wacky idea, but maybe instead of invoking Gods you could invoke Superheroes. All you need are some comics of the heroes you want to envoke, or some action figures. The ritual is probably the same as invoking any other thought form, but superheroes are less demanding than gods, and you have such a range of well defined powers to choose from.

Get the JLA and JSA on the case, the bad guys don't stand a chance!

The Fool, cusm: I don't know if superheroes are going to work for me. The only "hero" I really like is John Constantine, so, uhn...

And I've been dreaming with Anubis recently. I made a deal with Thot (for a hypersigil, like impulsivelad told us in another thread), and Anubis just pop, together (and sometimes alone) in my dreams and meditations. So, I imagine, if He wants so much to contact this little mortal here...

And Ierne, about the obessessed one, to be myself, I don't know... see, I've been having all kind of problems for more than a year, and finally my patience got short. Mundane solutions aren't working. So, let's see how the Magickal World can help me...

Hummm... to protect my house can be a good thing, but the suckers (no pun intended), they're seeking me, so they're more connected to myself, than to a place. But I'll shield my house against them, too.

If they/it is to do with your self, maybe you could think of the Ramsay Dukes (sp?) technique of making a pact with this thing? A sort of 'working with' your personal demon(s) rather than trying to banish an integral aspect of your own self, if that's what it is. Just a thought. Good luck with it whatever you do.

Also a good idea: burn sage in your home/apt. The best way to do it is walk around the entire perimeter of your place (indoors, not outdoors) and let the smoke drift around the perimeter (for anywhere from 10 - 20 minutes, in my experience). Sage can clear out any ill spirits/vibes from your living space. A few hours after you sage the place, open your windows and air the place out. This will clear the air, literally and spiritually.

Today I began my anti-obssession attack: a sincronized action with three familiars I'm creating, my Holy Guardian Angel, meditations, shielding my house, a complete series of sigils regarding ALL the problems I have been suffering, and an Uncrossing Ritual.

Hunterwolf: I have no idea how to sage my house. If you could be so kindly to teach me how, or indicate some site where I can learn about, I'll do it. But, anyway, I just will use it in the end of this month, whem my relatives will make a trip.

Bill: I can't make any deals with these spirits, they've been terrible to me, and I don't want anyone more to have the problems I'm having. Well, maybe one. Or two people... but no.

Ciarconn: I'll post a sigil here, but first I'll try to clean myself. Maybe it will be enough, maybe not. We'll see.

Again, thanks to everybody. I'll keep you informed how things are going. For now, I just feel great, full of energy. Pandora's Hope is with me...

While you're walking around your home with your little cup of burning sage (which you should be able to get anywhere incense is sold) letting the smoke drift out, think purifying thoughts and ask any negative spirits to begone.
