Not really, no. As you say, they never finished it. If they're not releasing the second series that might be slightly better, as the end of the first book makes a better finale than the end of the second. If you're a big fan of Doctor Who (circa the Fifth Doctor) then I'd say go for it, the level of acting, special effects and scripting are about the same as I dimly recall. It may have a certain kitsch appeal by now.
Otherwise, you could probably read the whole trilogy over a warm, wet Sunday by the fire and still save money, time and effort. Now, Tomorrow People on the other hand.... |
