i don't want to start a debate on israel, but i fail to see how washington considers it one of "our reliable allies."
if what you've posted is true, then it's just another argument that israel has become a billion-dollar-a-year political liability since the fall of the soviet union.
i vaguely recall a story printed sometime in the last six months describing how a company based in israel, with ties to its government, has access the phone records of nearly every american household.
i say israel should either make itself useful for once or get off the dole. |
