i got really upset watching this show last night. the woman complained loudly about her a-cup breasts, claiming she'd have a happier life if she got d-cups.
so, what did channel 4 do? get her fake d-cup breasts that she'd have to wear for ten days non-stop.
the show filmed her not being able to get to sleep comfortably, finding it difficult to find clothes that fit, finding her breasts getting in the way of her hairdressing job and showed her complaining that they made her look fat.
on one night on the town, they filmed people grabbing her breasts at every available opportunity.
what the fuck was this show about if not making ladies with big boobs feel incredibly bad about their size? not one good thing was said in their favour. the end showed the woman back with her real a-cups saying that she felt 'genuinely' sorry for women with d-cups.
all it did was make me feel even more disgusted with my own body. i am very cross about this show, and was wondering if anyone else saw it and got pissed off too...?

I saw bits of this, and I thought it was more of a ‘be careful what you wish for…’ thing, but as I say I only saw parts of it…

And weren’t many of the people who grabbed her during the show people who’d been told (by her?) that she had the fake ones on ? I kind of hoped so…

suds, dont feel bad about your body.
see, im about to use a funny anecdote to make you feel better, its worth the read but if its not your thing..

After watching a bunch of porn i started feeling bad about my gigantic member. See i saw these guys swinging em a round and on swings and such, and i realized, "Wow, i really hate my body because of my giant member"
however, after a while i started realizing that it was a part of me, and if i were smaller it would seem starnge, so i slowly began accepting my body for what it is.

END ANECDOTE

Ok, now, living in the US i did not see the show in question, but have seen similar television, like a skinny model woman wearing a "fat suit" for a week and seeing how people reacted. I could see how this would EASILY make an overwieght person feel like crap after she takes off the suit to reveal her perfectly(modified) body. The same could be said for african americans after the "black like me" experiment.

Realistically, all these forays into the "other" are useless except for those involved. Feeling terrible about your looks based on a woman with small breasts saying she is glad they are small, or because a super model now says "i'm so happy with MY body" is overall fairly silly.
The only people whose idea of thier body should change are the ones you are watching, She should be happy as an A-Cup, its just bad that they showed it on telly so those who arent feel bad.
