A good friend of mine has been ranting about QPC for ages now. He's just nipped off to Tennasee (solry is that shit spelling) for a big QPC. lol REDNECKS AND BIG QUEER COMMUNES. Anyway just curious. I like the idea of queer as opposed to gay or straight.

Anyome know what I;m talking about ?

Grrr typing, excuse. Unwilling proponent of anarchic spelling

there's a queer pagan group in england, who i'm trying to track down. i'd certainly feel more comfortable in that kind of space - well, okay, i just watched 'the wicker man' and it was so *heterosexual* it put me off the film almost. queer pagans in this country hold a festival/camp every summer. try searching 'queer pagans' on google. i think you'll find some useful info.

There's this e-list:

qpc@yahoogroups.com

And can I just thank everyone who's seen this thread and not made a 'camp' joke? You have my eternal gratitude.

I like the idea of burning Richard Littlejohn in an enormous Wicker Homo. You couldn't bake it up.

In the States, there's the Mid Atlantic Men's Gathering. While not strictly straight or queer by design, its awfully queer in effect. A good bunch, I go to these. Also not strictly pagan by design, but it leans heavily in that direction. The last one had a Mabon celebration, burnt corn man and all. Boy, people got creative in making the corn man. He was definitely a figure of fertility, I'll give him that.
