If you have some time you can look through this site. It is mostly historical sites, but many of them do carry a magical past in some why or another.
Also, storm drains and abandoned buildings have their charm. I suppose it isn't so much the historical aspect in the storm drains, but there is something to be said for being underneath the city with no one else around. It is very quite and dark, very solitary. As far as abandoned buildings go, there is usually a rich history for them and to look at the ruins of the past, to remember who worked at the place, who died there, who lives there now, and how it is forgotten, is something else. I'd go as far as to say it's magical, but that's just me. |
