... youd probably only find indian type stuff i dont think they were ever really keen on building stuff

theres some real old temples in the south of the USA, but most of them are look just like hills now, cos their overgrown and underground. theres a place in northern USA, where white settelers were meant to have landed before columbus, templer type ppl and they made a small church thing (which is still there)

There's the Hotel 2 Tango in Montreal, but I'm not sure if that's exactly what you mean...

Well, there is always:
Sainte-Marie among the Hurons.
If you have some time you can look through this site. It is mostly historical sites, but many of them do carry a magical past in some why or another.

Also, storm drains and abandoned buildings have their charm. I suppose it isn't so much the historical aspect in the storm drains, but there is something to be said for being underneath the city with no one else around. It is very quite and dark, very solitary. As far as abandoned buildings go, there is usually a rich history for them and to look at the ruins of the past, to remember who worked at the place, who died there, who lives there now, and how it is forgotten, is something else. I'd go as far as to say it's magical, but that's just me.

You could try Mackenzie King's old mansion where he called up his dead dog, Da Vinci, etc.

There must be some spiritual sites out on the west coast in the Haida villages, or up north in Nunavut, although I guess that is a bit out of the way.
